How does water give the human body energy ?
When we eat food and breathe as well as use our body muscles, our
body creates a waste which is stored in one part of our body. And the body
needs to get rid of the waste by drinking water.
When there is not enough nutrients and water in the body, then
your body can trigger hunger to motivate you to get some more from whatever it
needs. The wastage in your body after drinking water becomes energy.
There are three main functions of water in the human body:
- Water can transfer oxygen as well as nutrients to different parts of the body.
- Water can remove toxin and waste from the body
- Also, Water can regulate the temperature of the human body.

How much should you drink water every day?
How much water should you drink each day? It's a simple question
with no easy answers. Studies have produced varying recommendations over the
years, but in truth, your water needs depend on many factors, including your
health, how active you are and where you live.
Although no single formula fits everyone, knowing more about your
body's need for fluids will help you estimate how much water to drink each day.
Health benefits of
water
Water is your body's principal
chemical component and makes up about 60 percent of your body weight. Every
system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of
vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment
for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs
when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions.
Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.
How much water do
you need?
Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine
and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its
water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.
So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a
temperate climate need? The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate
intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a
day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.
What about the
advice to drink eight glasses a day?
Everyone has heard the advice, "Drink eight 8-ounce glasses
of water a day." That's about 1.9 liters, which isn't that different from
the Institute of Medicine recommendations.
Although the "8 by 8" rule isn't supported by hard
evidence, it remains popular because it's easy to remember. Just keep in mind
that the rule should be re-framed as: "Drink at least eight 8-ounce
glasses of fluid a day," because all fluids count toward the daily total.

The Health Benefits of Water
The human body is a water machine‚
designed primarily to run on water and minerals. Every life giving and healing
process that happens inside our body... happens with water.
In just the last decade medical
science has begun to focus more on the tremendous healing ability our body has
and how much that ability depends on water.
Our body instinctively knows how
and strives to sustain youthful longevity‚ and in its every effort... water is
the key.
The human body is made up of over
70% water. Our blood is more than 80%‚ our brain ... over 75%‚ and the human
liver is amazing 96% water!
Our energy level is greatly
affected by the amount of water we drink.
It has been medically proven that
just a 5% drop in body fluids will cause a 25% to 30% loss of energy in the
average person... a 15% drop in body fluids causing death!
Water is what our liver uses to
metabolize fat into usable energy. It is estimated that over 80% of our
population suffers energy loss due to minor dehydration.

The Importance of Water
Dr.
Donald Robertson says the body will not function properly without enough water
and discusses the importance of drinking plenty of water for permanent weight
loss: "Drinking enough water is the best treatment for fluid retention;
the overweight person needs more water than the thin one; water helps to
maintain proper muscle tone; water can help relieve constipation; drinking
water is essential to weight loss." in his book, titled "The Snowbird
Diet"
Water
is a key component in determining the quality of our lives. Today, people are
concerned about the quality of the water they drink. Although water covers more
than 70% of the Earth, only 1% of the Earth's water is available as a source of
drinking.
Yet,
our society continues to contaminate this precious resource. Water is known as
a natural solvent. Before it reaches the consumer's tap, it comes into contact
with many different substances, including organic and inorganic matter,
chemicals, and o ther contaminants. Many public water systems treat water with
chlorine to destroy disease-producing contaminants that may be present in the
water.
Although
disinfection is an important step in the treatment of potable water, the taste
and odor of chlorine is objectionable. And, the disinfectants that are used to
prevent disease, that can create byproducts which may pose significant health
risks.
Today,
drinking water treatment at the point-of-use is no longer a luxury, it is a
necessity! Consumers are taking matters into their own hands and are now
determining the quality of the water they and their families will drink by
installing a drinking water system that will give them clean, refreshing, and
healthier water.
